SIAG-APDE Newsletter April 4^th 2009

Dear Members,

This is the third newsletter of our recently establish activity group. After the successful inaugural meeting in December, 2004, Boston in July 2006 and Mesa, Arizona in December 2007; our SIAG APDE charter was renewed

(Charter renewal document).

We also had the third election of officers early this year. The new officers, elected to two year terms 2009-2010 are as follows:

• Vice Chair: Lawrence Craig Evans, email 1/1/09 - 12/31/10
• Program Director: Irene M. Gamba, email 1/1/09 - 12/31/10

The next SIAG/APDE meeting will be held at the Hilton Miami Downtown � Miami, Florida , on December 7-9, 2009. This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our field to a wide audience of mathematical scientists. At the meeting, our SIAG will award the third SIAG/APDE prize.
